State of Work is published by Outlever, a media company that builds and operates owned newsrooms for the organizations it partners with. Outlever provides the editorial infrastructure behind this publication — commissioning, editing, production, and distribution — and funds it. That relationship is disclosed in the footer of every page on this site rather than buried in a policy document.

Partner organizations support the publication and may appear in it, and any story that is sponsored or partner-funded carries a visible label on the article itself.
